What does the team work on?

Ad Product Strategy & Operations (PS&O) is a hybrid strategy and execution function within Roku’s Ad Product organization. We partner with product managers and cross-functional teams to accelerate decision-making, ensure launch readiness, and operationalize product strategy across Roku’s advertising portfolio. The team sits at the intersection of product development and business enablement. Our focus is on driving clarity, scalability, and alignment across initiatives, from roadmap planning through launch execution. We also collaborate closely with commercialization partners to ensure new products and solutions are effectively brought to market.

What is the role?

Roku is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead generative AI and creative products for our advertising business. In this role, you will own a portfolio of AI-powered tools that help advertisers create, adapt, and enhance TV ad creative. The portfolio includes AI-generated video creative that helps advertisers of any size produce TV-ready ads from their existing brand assets, generative enhancements for Roku ad formats, and creative adaptation tools that reformat assets across sizes and placements. You will grow the portfolio by scaling products already in market and by identifying new opportunities and taking the strongest from concept to launch. This role sits at the intersection of applied AI, creative workflows, and ad products. You will partner closely with engineering, design, ad sales, operations, legal, and marketing.

For California Only - The estimated annual base salary for this position is between $167,300 - $307,600.  Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.  This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

How will I use AI at Roku?

At Roku, we don’t just use AI, we work with it. AI agents and smart tools help power drafts, analysis, and repetitive workflows, while our people bring direction, judgment, and accountability. We’re looking for curious, adaptable builders who can show how they’ve used AI or automation to move faster, raise the bar, and scale their impact.

We value your AI skills if you have built fluency across the agentic engineering toolchain — coding harnesses like Claude Code or Cursor, MCP servers, custom skills, or agent frameworks. And you can describe projects where you shipped real work with these tools. You know how to drive an agent, verify its output, and ramp on an unfamiliar codebase with an agent helping you.

What are the responsibilities of the role?

Own the strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for the AI creative portfolio, with goals tied to advertiser adoption, campaign performance, and revenue

Take products from early access to broad availability by defining launch criteria, quality standards, and the cost and performance targets that make them viable at scale

Identify and launch new AI creative products by running discovery with advertisers and agencies, prototyping quickly with engineering, and making clear go or no-go decisions on what graduates to a full launch

Define what quality means for AI-generated creative, and work with design, review, and policy teams to build human-in-the-loop workflows and brand guardrails

Make build-versus-reuse decisions across a shared generative AI platform so products share models, services, and safety layers instead of duplicating them

Partner with ad sales and marketing on go-to-market, including packaging, pricing, early-access programs, and positioning

Work with legal on rights, intellectual property, and responsible AI considerations for generated creative

Instrument funnel events, in-product feedback, creative quality, and campaign results, and use that data to decide what to build next

What experience would help someone be successful in this role at Roku?

Significant product management experience, including shipping and scaling platform products

Hands-on experience bringing generative AI or ML-powered products to market, including working through model quality, evaluation, cost, latency, and safety tradeoffs

Demonstrated ability to take a product from beta to general availability with clear launch criteria and measurable adoption

Experience scoping workflows that blend automation with human review, such as editorial, moderation, or approval flows

Data-driven decision making, including defining success metrics, setting up instrumentation, reading A/B test results, and acting on the findings

Strong communication and influence skills across engineering, design, sales, operations, and legal, including distributed teams across time zones

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Background in advertising technology, especially CTV, video, or creative management platforms (nice to have)

Experience with creative tools, design systems, or content production workflows used by agencies, studios, or in-house brand teams (nice to have)

Familiarity with generative video a
